Back by popular demand, our Handcrafted Acorn serving board. This board was previously offered in a sweet, small size in an autumn bundle. We have brought back the small board, plus we created a larger version. The large version is available in multiple wood choices. The small is crafted from Red Oak.
Small board measures approximately 11" from stem to base x 8.25" Available in Oak hardwood.
Large 14.25" tip of stem to base x 9" Available in Walnut, Oak or Aspen hardwood.
All boards are finished with our handcrafted food safe board wax. This wax is also available for individual sale in our shop. Over time as your board ages from use, or normal exposure, it will dry out. Adding a food safe board wax or oil will revive the natural beauty of the wood.
As with any wood board, use caution when used for serving food. Discoloration can occur from meats, cheeses, and berries. Never submerge the board in water. Use a damp, soapy cloth to clean. Dry promptly. Over time the wood may lose its luster. If you use the board for cutting it will age the board. Simply apply any food safe wax or oil to condition the wood and it will bring back the vibrancy of the wood. We sell our handmade wax that is used to finish all of our boards. It is great to have on hand to protect the beauty and finish of your boards.
